“The Essence of Industry 4.0 and Response Strategy” delivered by Prof. Choi Jae-bung from Sungkyunkwan University to Hyundai Robotics
Hyundai Robotics held a special lecture inviting Industry 4.0 specialists for its employees at the auditorium of The Korean Academy of Science and Technology Hall at 10 am on October 28, 2019.
The guest lecturer was Choi Jae-bung, the Professor of Mechanical Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University, who is acting as an advising member of the National Assembly’s Industry 4.0 Special Committee. He is also the author of “Phono Sapiens: A New Mankind Born by Smartphone.”
In this lecture, Prof. Choi made an analysis and forecast of the heavily impacted industrial ecosystem by the emergence of Phono Sapiens (people who are using smartphones as parts of their bodies) and discussed proper direction towards which Hyundai Robotics is heading as a leading player of the domestic and foreign robot markets.
