2020 as the Year Leading to High Growth!
 
On December 18, 2019, Hyundai Robotics held the “Management Goal Achieving Workshop for 2020” in the Yongin R&D Center with the executives and team leaders from each sector, including the COO Seo Yoo Seong.
 
In this workshop, the company’s management status was reexamined, and the implementation strategies for winning orders, innovations in R&D, and reducing the cost to achieve the management goals for 2020 were devised.
 
On the day, COO Seo Yoo Seong stressed that the split of Hyundai Robotics offers “the opportunity to gain the identity as a robot specialist” and presented the targets comprising of one trillion KRW in sales and 100 billion KRW in operating profit by 2024 as Korea’s first and the world’s fifth robot/smart solution provider. He also shared the mid to long-term growth road maps featuring industrial robots, smart factories, and smart logistics automation businesses.
 
Hyundai Heavy Industries Holdings seeks to establish its subsidiary company “Hyundai Robotics” by physically dividing the robot business division in May 2020 so as to raise the company as a global top-tier robot company.
