“Face the challenges of the world with the labor-management accord”

On October 28 at the Daegu headquarters, Hyundai Robotics held a two-year 2019 and 2020 “Collective Bargaining Agreement Signing Ceremony” and “Declaration Ceremony for the Labor-Management Accord.” 

Hyundai Robotics, which launched this year, successfully concluded a collective bargaining agreement for 2019 and 2020 after over two months of negotiations with the Hyundai Robotics Labor Union - which was founded following the launch of the company - with the approval of 95.5% of the voting union members.
 
Over 100 employees attended the event, including Hyundai Robotics COO Seo Yoo Seong and labor union chairman Kim Jae Hyung.
 
The Declaration for the New Labor-Management Accord reflected the collective will of the union and management to overcome the current business crisis brought about by COVID-19, progress together, and lead happy lives. For this, the accord emphasized a win-win labor-management culture, a healthy workplace culture, and social responsibility.

That day, COO Seo Yoo Seong Seo said, “We must go beyond simple cooperative labor-management relations, as only solid trust and united strength can overcome the business crisis before us and help both the union and management survive and thrive,” adding, “I hope this declaration ceremony will be the start of ‘a new effort to face the challenges of the world.’” 

Labor union chairman Kim Dae Hyung said, “We will do our best to make Hyundai Robotics a workplace where employment is stable and compensation is fair.”
